John Brooks Ltd are food and beverage engineering experts. We began our food and beverage engineering experience in the 1960’s manufacturing conveyors for the New Zealand meat industry. Since those early days, we’ve greatly expanded and diversified our products and services. We can just supply the engineering components you need, or we can design and build full solutions. Our large experience with mechanical and electrical builds truly sets us apart from other New Zealand engineering suppliers.
On any food and beverage engineering project, we closely liaise with you to achieve your desired results. We seek first to understand your exact engineering needs, and then confirm the performance expectations and desired outcomes of your solution, and then aim to select the right combination of compatible products to achieve the best outcome. No engineering project is too big or too small for John Brooks Ltd to undertake.
Over the years we’ve designed specialist machinery for many New Zealand food and beverage processing companies, including the first flake potato machine in New Zealand, and an icing sugar machine for Edmonds. We designed Tegel Chicken’s automated refrigeration system which has conveyor automation and product data logging, enabling the Tegel office to fully control production throughput remotely. We’ve helped DB breweries to ensure the smooth side transfer of beer cans and bottles in the production line, using Magnet table top chains. And we’ve just completed a full integrated conveyor system for Foodstuff’s new soda drink line.
All of our food and beverage engineering solutions use recognised and reputable brands to give confidence to our customers. Our branded products include Ashworth stainless steel belts, Tecom conveyor components, Hongs belts, Easecon Modular belts, Baldor motors and amplifiers, Teco motors and controls, KB Electronics AC and DC motor controls, Beijer HMI touch screens, Bodin food pumps, and Linak low voltage linear acutators.
