John Brooks Ltd offers a range of engineering programming services.  We have automation support staff at each John Brooks Ltd office: John Brooks Auckland, John Brooks Wellington, and John Brooks Christchurch.  We also have System Integration staff at John Brooks Auckland.  Our programming experience includes:

Human Machine Interfaces (HMI): We supply, install, support and program a full range of Beijer HMI screens, with sizes from 3.5 inches through to 19 inches. We also offer Ix runtime scada systems.  Beijer HMI screens have robust aluminium casing, making them suitable for the harshest of environments to the factory floors.  The amazing vector graphics gives you the flexibility to scale your project to suit your screen. Making sure you can offer a flexible and competitive solution. 
We can provide functionality and programming for touch or button options, data gathering for report generation, drivers for 99% of the controllers on the market, and support for input devices such as keyboards and barcode readers etc.

Motion Control:  We supply, install, support and program Motion Controls, for single or multi-axis robotics.  We use machine automation components from Trio, ABB-Baldor, IMS and JVL.  We worked with the Manukau Institute of Technology to create an innovative Motion Control educational program – see our “Education” page for full details.
Our motion controllers not only control machine motion, but also control input / output (IO) functions via the robotic axis. We generally incorporate these functions into the motors to reduce wiring and cabinet space.

Machine control: We can program and control almost any machine type, using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and smart relays.  We can design the full solution, or work alongside other providers / suppliers to program and configure the equipment.  

Engineering Programming:  John Brooks Ltd can program your controllers (for HMI, Motion Control, or Machine Control) remotely via an internet connection, or program them on site at your business location. Regardless of the option you choose, we’ll ensure that the outcome is economical and satisfactory.
